2007 is in Full Swing

Life has gotten busy again. We are all doing well though.

Taylor has been busy selling and now delivering her Girl Scout Cookies. She did very well and ended up selling a total of 125 boxes. Thanks to you all for supporting her. Her troop sold 1500 boxes altogether. The troop earned $750 and their leader is very pleased. They plan to put 50% of the money into the troops general fund for patches and meeting supplies. 10% will be used to buy school supplies in the fall for Salvation Army. The balance will be used for the girls to take a trip to Newport Aquarium and a pool party this summer.

Both kids have been busy with Upwards Basketball. We have been nothing but happy with this program. Each week at practice the teams pray together and have a devotional time together. At half-time someone shares their testimony. I think we need an Upwards program for all sports. It is totally geared to teaching the fundamentals of the game minus the pressure of winning. They teach the kids that they are all winners.

Dave has been traveling to Boston since mid February. This makes life a little crazy here, but it all seems to work out somehow.

I will try to keep updates coming more frequently. I love to follow other people's blogs. Hope you love following ours. If so --- Leave a comment. Thanks.

This is Abbey.
She is our Doberman, but don't tell her she is a dog.
She is pretty sure she is just one of our kids.
Nickolas took this picture to use on a project for school.
I was pretty impressed at what a good shot he got.
I'm hoping for a chiropractor, but maybe a photographer?
This is an example of what a very rough life she has --
Lounging on the couch behind Nickolas.

This photo is Christmas Eve.
Dave and the kids are looking to check where Santa was.
The kids were afraid that when we went to church that they would miss him.
Luckily at about 9 pm, he was just getting to South America.

Santa brought Nickolas this Doodle Monster, Inke.

Santa brought Taylor a Doodle Bear named Penney.
We got her this big pink fluffy chair. She was in girly girl heaven.

We Have Joined the Bloggers

I follow several blogs and thought it was a fitting time to start one of our own. Our lives seem to move so fast, it may help me to keep it all straight by posting on here.

Dave and I will have been married 12 years in May. We will be celebrating, along with our friends Chris and Jennifer, in Hawaii in June. The last anniversary we celebrated was the 1st one, so it is long overdue.

As we roll into 2007, it is hard to believe that Kaleigh will turn 10 this year. I can't begin to imagine what a milestone bday is like in heaven with Jesus as the party planner. Nickolas is in 3rd grade and will turn 9 in May. Taylor is sassy as ever, in 1st grade, and will be 7 in July. I feel like I have blinked and my babies are big. I'll post some pictures as soon as I learn how.

I will try to post often. Give us your feedback to let us know what you'd like to see updates on.

Happy New Year!!!
